Acasa, My Home

Acasa, My Home
The Enache family including nine kids and their parents lived freely in the wilderness of Bucharest Delta – one of the largest urban reservoirs with hundreds of species. When the officials reclaim this rare urban ecosystem, the Enache family is forced to resettle in a city. Unfamiliar with the city, the shift from fishing rods to smartphones and schools to wilderness disrupts their natural routine.

As identity crisis hits in the city life, their sense of freedom has been shattered. Radu Ciorniciuc’s debut is a heartbreaking portrayal of a paradise lost for a society that offers comfort with conflicts and pressures.
