This Cuban oriented documentary featuring their traditions will engulf you in emotions. Passing through normal island life, and swiftly moving into a religious celebration of Bembe, this documentary shows family and friends taking part in the rituals that will last for seven days. With both Christian and the African Yoruba portions in the celebrations, Bembe gets emotionally and spiritually engulfing where spirits of dead slaves return to Earth.
With the use of immersive technologies, the directors Marcos Louit and Patricia Díaz use this documentary to transfer the experience straight from the Cuban cities and streets to the cinematic audience.
