Dream Horse

Dream Horse
In a lazy working class community, Jan tries to find meaning in her life while waitressing at a local pub. One night, an arrogant customer, a former racehorse leader inspires her to take on a challenge. Void to her parent’s skepticism, she appeals to her neighbours for a crazy scheme of gathering community fund to breed a racehorse.

After a rocky start, the racehorse goes in to win big enriching the lives of all the members while giving them an aim they never hoped about. By creating a dramatic narrative, on-track and off-track, this underdog story about a strong-willed Jan infuses warmth and humor.
