Herself

Herself
An Irish single mother – Sandra – faces a dire situation with her two young daughters. An attack by her abusive ex-husbands gets them into a housing crisis. She moves to a cramped hotel room and is determined to achieve safety and stability for the three of them.

Getting no help from the system, she decided to build her own home literally while metaphorically building a foundation for their future. Phyllida directs this story with a core of essential universal and timely ideas. Herself is an optimistic portrayal of a woman fighting for her dignity.
