Real-Life Twitter Thread Gave Birth to The Wild “Zola” Movie

Back in 2015, a twitter thread went viral involving a pretty wild tale. Who knew that a 148-tweet saga could give birth to a movie this crazy? The tweet was shared by the user Aziah King whose first words were “Y’all wanna hear a story about why me & this here bitch fell out???????? It’s kind of long but full of suspense.”

The thriller premiered at the Sundance film festival 2021. Its screening proved that the movie was in good hands and twitter thread was dramatically reincarnated onto the big screens.
