Kajillionaire

Kajillionaire
Two con artists have spent 26 years training their daughter to scam and steal at every opportunity. During a hastily conceived scheme, they recruit Melanie – a kind stranger – in supporting their next heist. As Jolly starts to doubt her odd reality,
Melanie’s unlikely connection with their daughter -Jolly – causes her to think between the only family she knew and the prospect of her freedom.

With uncanny sweetness and lyrical charm, writer/director Miranda July makes a comeback with absurd comedy and the portrait of self-discovery that unfolds beautifully through the experience of a true connection.
