La Leyenda Negra

La Leyenda Negra
Teenage Aleteia is an El Salvadorian immigrant to the United States, who is finding it difficult to adjust to her new school. She has grown up in the United States, and already has connections with the underground activists. She just wants herself to be heard.

Her future is at stake when her status as an immigrant is compromised. She befriends some popular girls at school, and as she grows close to them, she becomes more and more determined to fight to get her status back. Teenage drama coupled with a story of resilience makes this story worth a watch.
