Max Richter’s Sleep

Max Richter's Sleep
Max Richter is known as one of the most influential composers of his generation. His style, which is a combination of classical traditions and minimalist electronica, is what makes him the favorite of a wider audience. In 2015, he released an eight hours opus Sleep that fuses piano and strings with slight electronic touches and vocals.
Natalie Johns, an award-winning filmmaker, is going to follow a live performance of Sleep in Los Angeles’s Grand Park with 500 other people. You require a certain vulnerability to enjoy the mesmerizing music while drifting in and out of consciousness.
