Softie

Softie
Boniface “Softie” Mwangi – a political activist – has been fighting injustice for long. By running office in a regional Kenyan election, he decides to run a clean campaign against corrupt officials. Bonnie soon finds out that challenging strong opponents will risk the lives of his family, but is fighting for his country more important than his family?

Nero, his wife hesitantly laughs about his optimism about his grassroots campaign. Set against the backdrop of a country’s transformation Soko’s feature goes beyond political trends to unearth what motivated a common activist to push for change.
