Spaceship Earth

Spaceship Earth
In the Arizona desert (1991), eight skilled individuals were sealed in Biosphere 2 – a terrarium project meant to recreate an isolated Earth’s environment for two years through licensable tools. Funded by a Texas oil tycoon, the simulation became a dystopian ecological crisis which was taken over by a corporate consultant who vanished the data.

As little was revealed about the people who created it, so this doc features archival records with present day interviews that remind us of of the cautionary forces that can destroy our planet but also what a small creative group can achieve.
