Annie Clark claimed that Carrie Brwonstein is her best friend forever via a public declaration in her recent Instagram post, trending on Clark’s profile.
Subsequently, sources informed that Clark chose her dearest buddy, Brownstein for the scriptwriting of her documentary-style film, called “The Nowhere Inn” – featuring at Sundance movie festival in 2020. The film has been directed by Bill Benz and co-written by both Annie and Brownstein. Clark also claims that ‘she scored it’.
According to Sundance Institute’s outline, the documentary promises to portray St.Vincent’s insight to her music life – on and off stage – specifically revealing and celebrating her unembellished backstage identity. And how concepts like originality, truth and recognition become highly peculiar and twisted especially when your best friend is hired to direct it for a platform like The Sundance Festival.
The movie will be released as part of Sundance Festival’s Midnight series.
