Tickets and Passes
In order to get started with your adventure and to purchase passes, packages, or individual Sundance tickets, you need to create an account on sundance.org. Keep in mind that registration is required for Sundance industry participants and is by invitation only.
All public, locals, and youth Sundance film festival tickets packages contain 10 tickets (except for the six-ticket Shorts Episodic Package). 20-ticket packages are available for Sundance Institute members, donors, corporate partners, and industry professionals.
Individual tickets purchased in advance are now $25, this is for all screenings at all venues throughout the Sundance Festival, except for tickets to Kids screenings, which are $10.

Pass and Package Limits
Keeping in mind the Sundance schedule and the plethora of viewers who travel from across the country and the world, customers are limited to one type of ticket package per person, up to four per household. (For example, you may purchase one first-half package, one second-half package, and one Salt Lake City Package, but you may not purchase two of the same package types.) For passes, there is a limit of two per specific type of pass. Apart from these limits, there are no such limits on the total amount of different passes or ticket packages you can buy.
Be careful and make sure that your ID must match your purchase address. Please make sure to not use your work address or multiple IDs for the purchase.
All cancellation requests must be received in writing via email or fax (no phone calls) and confirmed with the Pass/Package office by December 13, 2019. There is a 20% handling fee applied to all canceled orders. Cancellation requests can be sent via email to the team of Sundance. Your email must include your name, reservation number, and a copy of your purchase confirmation email.
Judges at the Sundance Film Festival

How can you be a Volunteer?
- After submitting your application, you will receive a Google form that will serve as your initial interview. This document allows the Sundance Team to learn a little bit about you and better understand where you will fit into the Festival.
- Your volunteer coordinator will email you a volunteer agreement. You must sign the agreement to confirm your position, and outline the requirements of your designation, and your schedule for the Sundance Festival.
- Sign-Up Volunteers, once instructed, will log in to Shiftboard (the Sundance scheduling platform) and sign up for shifts, making sure to sign up for a minimum of 24 hours.
- You will check-in before your first shift or training to pick up your Festival credentials, swag, etc. So have fun attending the festival, exploring the best film craft and interacting with the Sundance Film Festival.
- Full-time volunteers have shifts every day of the Festival. Your schedule will be preset for you, so you’ll know your shifts before you arrive.
