The Nest

The Nest
During the 1980s, Rory persuades his American wife to shift to native England. As an ambitious entrepreneur, he senses opportunity and leases an old country manor with space for Allison’s horses. As they head towards a spiralling breakdown, they buckle under their unaffordable lifestyle with increasing isolation.

With successfully crafted aesthetic unease, Sean Durkinson portrays a corrosive value system. The sickening toll it takes on human life with status becoming the measure of self worth, moral poison reduces people to self-destructive pathways. It is a tale of moral and spiritual emptiness when we no longer know what we want.
