The Trade

The Trade
Matthew Heineman follows the story of human trafficking and migrant communities looking for safer ways to survive. It follows the journey of migrants from Central America to the United States who are later deported back home, and the people who are involved in illegal activities and smuggling people across the border.
Trade is a character-driven film that studies the emotional vulnerability of humans, their exploitation, and fear. The film exposes the dark side of the American Dream and how the people have no choice but to chase it
