Untitled Kirby Dick/Amy Ziering Film

Untitled Kirby Dick/Amy Ziering Film
This film depicts the tale of Drew Dixon – a music executive whose life was tainted by the men who abused her in the industry she loved. Dixon musters courage to come forward as the first woman of color that takes part in the #MeToo movement.

The doc displays a complicated tale of race, gender, helplessness and the fear that comes from being abused. Dixon had inspired many young women to become silence-breakers. Her battle to nullify the vilification of black men is a much needed positive change that is required not specifically in the music industry but all over the world.
